Called Grui-Kaak in Thai.


Peel and slice bananas into two halves.


Cut bananas into short lengths (7-8 cm )


Mix all the other ingredients into a large mixing bowl and stir until blended together well.


Heat some oil to 190° C (A Deep Fat Fryer is good for this) .


Dip the banana pieces into the batter and place into the hot oil.


Fry until the batter is cooked and golden.


Dust with icing sugar for a better presentation.

10-12 Small Bananas (Kl̂wy)

100 g Rice Flour (Pæ̂ngỵwn)

100 g Wheat Flour (Pæ̂ngh̄mī̀)

1 teaspoon Baking Soda (Be ke xrī̀ sodā)

200 mls Water (N̂ảmpel̀ā)

100 mls Coconut Milk (Maphr̂āw)

1/2 Teaspoon Salt (Kelụ̄x)

3 Tablespoons Sesame Seeds (Mel̆d ngā)

3 Tablespoons Sugar (N̂ảtāl)

4 Tablespoons Desiccated Coconut (Kho khonạ th p̄hụ̀ng h̄ı̂ h̄æ̂ng)
